I thought I would set up a blog to tell you about the day in the life of Matt Lowe Photography, and what we get up to! Here is a bit of blurb about me..
Im Mawgan *** Im a business partner in Matt Lowe Photography*** We specialise in all areas of photography, from creative to classic. I am a Makeup & Hair Artist and Model Coach. I can give you that glamour look for your shoot that you always wanted, smoky eyes and tumbling tresses, or that funky fashion style with vibrant contemporary makeup and high class hair styles. Being a model coach I can help you get the most out of your shoot, advising on flattering poses, lifestyle, nutrition and fitness advice, and general all round encouragement. Together with Matt Lowe, Photographer, we are Matt Lowe Photography, and we offer various packages of shoot, from Mother and Baby, Editorial, Commercial, through to Classic Portraits, Alternative, Boudoir, Glamour and Fashion. We cover all bases so whatever you want from a shoot, we can provide. We provide a laid back, relaxing environment whilst going above and beyond your expectations. With all shoots you will receive your edited images on CD, and for a small extra price you can order A3 prints of your shoot that you can frame or give to a special someone..... Please feel free to contact me for more information.... I have a background as a Professional Stage/Podium Dancer and Model. I have been Stage and Podium Dancing and working as a model for 8 years now. I’m trained in Fire Artistry (Breathing/eating/body burning) Stilt walking, Angle Grinding, Circus Skills and as an Les Mills Aerobics Teacher (Random CV I know!) I have appeared in various publications and adverts, the most recent being the Hed Kandi Spring 2009 TV commercial, and on various flyers for well known clubs such as Gatecrasher Birmingham, Godskitchen, and Space Ibiza. I have also appeared in such magazines as Nuts, FHM, Flirt, and Front, and made the FHM High Street Honeys top 50. I love to experiment with make up and hair, and always love to push the boundries of fashion and creativity. I have a strong background in hair styling, especially Hair Coloring and Hair Extensions, and I am hoping to be trained in Nail Extensions, Spray Tanning, and Bonded Hair Extensions soon......

I used to work as a production manager for a graphic design company in the day, which was great fun at times but eventually I got a tad bored with it and decided I’d far rather be doing what I love and having fun behind a camera all day … alongside the photography I've been a DJ since I was 17 so at 37 I'm probably old enough to know better but I still do it part time, just to keep my cats in the style they’ve become accustomed to. I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time and had a great time when club culture was at its peak and had fantastic time ….. Just work a couple of small’ish venues a couple of nights a week just to keep my hand in. Do a radio show most Sunday evenings, playing bassline and club anthems. When I say "most Sunday evenings" I mean I do it as and when the transmitter has been confiscated by the powers that be ......
